Andaman Trip Package 8 Days from Mumbai
Overview
The Andaman Islands are India's most beautiful coastline — white sand beaches fringed with palm trees, coral reefs teeming with marine life, and turquoise waters that rival the Maldives. This 8-day trip covers the three main islands: Port Blair (Cellular Jail, Ross Island, and North Bay), Havelock Island (Radhanagar Beach, Elephant Beach snorkelling), and Neil Island (Bharatpur Beach, Laxmanpur Beach). The pace is deliberately relaxed — island time is real, and the best experiences here are unscheduled: a sunset walk on a near-empty beach, a long snorkel over a coral garden, or a beer at a beach shack watching the waves.
Based in Andaman & Nicobar, this easy 8-day trek is best attempted during October, November, December, January, February, March, April, May — when the trail and surroundings are at their most rewarding.

FAQs
Do I need a permit to visit the Andaman Islands?
Indian citizens do not need any permit to visit the main islands (Port Blair, Havelock, Neil). Foreign nationals arriving by air do not need a permit either. However, certain restricted tribal areas require special permits — none of our itinerary visits those areas.
Which airport do I fly to?
You fly to Veer Savarkar International Airport (IXZ) in Port Blair. Direct flights operate from Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. We can assist with flight suggestions, but the flight cost is not included in the package.
What is the best time for this trip?
October to May is ideal — clear skies, calm seas, and excellent visibility for snorkelling. June to September is monsoon season when ferry services between islands can be cancelled or delayed. December-January is peak season with the best weather but higher prices.
Is snorkelling equipment provided?
Yes, basic snorkelling gear (mask, snorkel, fins, life jacket) is included for the snorkelling sessions at Elephant Beach and North Bay. If you have your own mask and snorkel, we recommend bringing them for a better fit and hygiene.
Can I see bioluminescence in the Andamans?
Bioluminescent plankton is visible in certain bays around Havelock and Neil Island on dark, moonless nights, particularly during the plankton bloom season (March-May). It is a natural phenomenon — sightings depend on the moon phase, current season, and ocean conditions, and cannot be guaranteed.
