Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking any trek, event, or experience offered by Mumbai Weekenders, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not proceed with the booking. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Mumbai Weekenders.

2. Booking and Payment

All bookings are confirmed only after full payment is received. Your spot is not guaranteed until payment is completed and you receive a confirmation message via email or WhatsApp. Prices are subject to change without notice, but once a booking is confirmed, the quoted price is locked for that booking.

We accept payments via credit/debit cards, UPI, and other payment methods as displayed on our website. All payments are processed securely through third-party payment gateways.

3. Participant Responsibility

By booking with Mumbai Weekenders, you confirm that you are physically and mentally fit to participate in the chosen activity. Trekking and outdoor activities carry inherent risks, including but not limited to injuries from falls, weather conditions, wildlife encounters, and challenging terrain.

You are responsible for:

  • Carrying appropriate clothing, footwear, and equipment as recommended for the trek
  • Carrying any necessary medications along with a valid doctor's prescription
  • Following the instructions of trek leaders and guides at all times
  • Behaving responsibly and respectfully toward fellow participants, guides, and the environment
  • Disclosing any pre-existing medical conditions that may affect your participation

4. Safety and Conduct

Mumbai Weekenders prioritises the safety of all participants. We reserve the right to deny participation or discontinue any participant from the trek if, in our sole discretion, the participant's health, fitness, or behaviour poses a risk to themselves, the group, or the experience.

The following behaviours are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal from the event with no refund:

  • Consumption of alcohol or drugs before or during the trek
  • Disobeying instructions from trek leaders or guides
  • Behaviour that endangers the safety of other participants
  • Damage to the environment or cultural sites

5. Changes by Mumbai Weekenders

Mumbai Weekenders reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel any trek or event due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Adverse weather conditions or natural disasters
  • Government restrictions, permits, or regulations
  • Insufficient participant numbers
  • Safety concerns or unforeseen circumstances

In such cases, participants will be offered a full refund or a credit note for a future event of equivalent value. Mumbai Weekenders is not liable for any additional expenses incurred by participants, including travel, accommodation, or other arrangements.

6. Itinerary Changes

While we strive to follow the published itinerary, Mumbai Weekenders reserves the right to alter routes, schedules, or activities due to weather conditions, trail conditions, safety concerns, or other factors. Trek leaders may make real-time decisions to ensure the safety and enjoyment of the group. No refund will be provided for itinerary modifications made in the interest of safety.

7. Photography and Media

Mumbai Weekenders may take photographs and videos during treks and events for promotional purposes. By participating, you grant Mumbai Weekenders the right to use such media without compensation. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform our team in writing before the event.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Mumbai Weekenders website, including text, images, logos, and branding, is the intellectual property of Mumbai Weekenders. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without prior written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

Mumbai Weekenders acts as an organiser and facilitator of treks and events. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mumbai Weekenders shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in any trek or event, including but not limited to personal injury, loss of property, or emotional distress.

Participants acknowledge that outdoor activities involve inherent risks and agree to assume full responsibility for their own safety and well-being.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your participation in Mumbai Weekenders events shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

11. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Cancellation & Refund Policy and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Mumbai Weekenders regarding your booking and participation in our events. No variation or modification of these terms shall be effective unless agreed to in writing by Mumbai Weekenders.
