Velas Turtle Festival 2025 Itinerary

Day 01 Friday , 04 April 2025: Departure from Mumbai in AC Vehicle

Night Departure: Board an AC bus from Mumbai, with pickup points such as Borivali National Park, typically around 9:15 PM. The overnight journey ensures arrival at Velas by early morning. ​ Day 01 Friday , 04 April 2025 of  Velas kaas mahotsav 04 April 2025 will be spent on bus journey only

Day 02 Saturday , 05 April 2025: Arrival at Velas Village and Activities

Reach Velas village and proceed directly to Velas Beach for the early morning turtle hatching session around 6:30 AM. Witness the release of baby turtles into the sea, a highlight of the festival. ​

After the beach session, head to a local pre booked homestay for freshening up, followed by a traditional breakfast.​

Around 9:30 AM, visit the historic Bankot Fort, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. ​A small hiking during the trip for hiking enthutiasts. Those who wish to skip this can stay at homestay.

Return to the homestay for a homemade lunch which we have booked for Velas kaas mahotsav 04 April 2025 . Post-lunch, take some time to relax.​

At 5:30 PM, revisit Velas Beach for another opportunity to observe turtle hatchlings. Enjoy the serene beach atmosphere during sunset.​

In the evening, enjoy dinner at the homestay. Some itineraries may include cultural programs or documentary screenings about turtle conservation. ​Day 02 Saturday , 05 April 2025 of Velas kaas mahotsav 04 April 2025 ends here.

Day 03 Sunday , 06 April 2025: Harihareshwar Visit and Return

Morning Activities: After breakfast, depart for Harihareshwar. Activities may include:​

Harihareshwar Temple Visit: Explore the temple known for its architecture and spiritual significance.​

Harihareshwar Beach: Spend time at the beach, known for its pristine beauty.​

Lunch: Enjoy lunch at a local home in Harihareshwar.

Return Journey: Begin the journey back to Mumbai, with an estimated arrival by late evening. and our Velas kaas mahotsav 04 April 2025 trip ends here. Reach Mumbai by 09.00 PM on sunday.
